Straight from Season 1, Once Upon a time has amazed audiences with bringing in such famous and loved fairy tale characters. The Evil Queen cursed all the fairy tale characters and sent them to a place called Storybrooke.  What people don’t actually know is that long before Regina was born, her mother Cora (Queen of Hearts) fell in love with Rumpelstiltskin, Cora was set to marry a king which would make her queen. Cora broke up with Rumpelstiltskin by ripping out her own heart. As Cora did not have her heart, she was able to do all these heartless evil things. Regina told Snow White a secret that Snow told to Cora, the secret was that Regina was in love with Daniel the stable boy and they were going to run away together, Cora crushed his heart in front of Regina and the day after Regina married the king. A massive problem that so many students face when going out is “Will I have enough money for tonight?” or “Should I take my card because then I can get more drinks?” It is such a bad thing in my opinion to take your card out when clubbing. It takes so long to sort your account again, you have to block on it and everything. I know what I am talking about because this has happened to me. Last January, I went to Dungeon with my friends, taking my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my wallet with all my cards. My friends were all telling me not to mix drinks but me being as stubborn as a mule, I didn’t want to listen to them, I should of heeded there advice because what happened later could only be explained as devastating . The artist I shall be blogging about today is Nicki Minaj. To her Barbz, she is Onika Tanya Maraj. ‘Massive Attack’ was the first song I heard from Nicki. One of my favourite songs by Nicki featuring crazy rapper Lil Wayne is ‘High School’. The lyrics are explicit from Nicki and Lil Wayne but rhyme and work so perfectly. Coming back to uni after Christmas holidays was always going to be exciting. I was always going to be nervous about the new subjects that I would be learning. Video was the first new lesson I was going to be learning. This enabled us to learn the tricks of using a camera. This included using tripods properly and how to place the camera on the tripod. This also included learning how to use the equipment for filming and taking pictures inside and outside. Law and Ethics was the next subject that I would be learning. It was so exciting to learn about defamation of character, types of hearings, Employment Tribunals and etc. Law and Ethics has been an interesting subject to study. Going to Magistrates Court was very different and we had to be quiet when we were watching the different cases. They were all very interesting to watch and we all had something to talk about afterwards. The Malaysian plane crash that has been broadcasted internationally has shocked thousands and left families distraught. There were a total of 227 passengers that included 153 Chinese and 38 Malaysian, which is on the MH 370 Passenger Manifest that puts into detail the name, the nationalities, and the ages of the different passengers. There were also two male passengers who were travelling using stolen passports apparently stolen from an Austrian and an Italian in Thailand in 2012 and 2013. In my opinion, the interesting issues about the plane crash is that there is a document that can actually tell you the names, nationalities and ages of all the passengers who were on the plane. This could be important information as it could be used to find the lost passengers. This story has interested me as putting yourself in the shoes of the families who are distraught and worrying is something difficult to think about. Samantha Lamb gave her kidney to her husband Andy who was dying because of renal failure in October 2009. As a result of this transplant, she lost 3st in weight. In August 2012, Andy cheated on Samantha with her friend and didn’t even leave a note or anything to apologise for the hurt he had put her through.   My opinion is that Andy is really cold and wrong for doing this to Samantha. He could have died if his wife didn’t give him one of her kidneys and this is how he repays her. This story has really aggravated me because he could have died and instead of staying faithful, he does the opposite and stabs her in the back. Samantha then went on to say “Andy was on dialysis for 3 times a week”.   Samantha persuaded him to take one of her kidneys which would obviously save his life. Beyoncé performed her big hit ‘Drunk in Love’ at the Grammys with her husband Jay Z. The performance was quite raunchy. The Grammys is comparable to the Emmy Awards and the Tony Awards. When an artist is given a Grammy award, it is because they have made a fantastic achievement in the music industry. Jay Z was the top leading artist walking away with 9 Grammy awards, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake all got 7 Grammy awards.   Katy Perry & Juicy J performed Dark Horse, Lorde performed Royals, Beyoncé & Jay Z performed Drunk In Love, Hunter Hayes performed Invisible, Keith Urban performed Cop Car, John Legend performed All of Me, Taylor Swift performed All Too Well, P!nk performed Try. These performances were amazing to watch as they were from different genres of music.
