Victim Wants Kidney Back

Samantha Lamb gave her kidney to her husband Andy who was dying because of renal failure in October 2009. As a result of this transplant, she lost 3st in weight. In August 2012, Andy cheated on Samantha with her friend and didn’t even leave a note or anything to apologise for the hurt he had put her through.  My opinion is that Andy is really cold and wrong for doing this to Samantha. He could have died if his wife didn’t give him one of her kidneys and this is how he repays her. This story has really aggravated me because he could have died and instead of staying faithful, he does the opposite and stabs her in the back.

Samantha then went on to say “Andy was on dialysis for 3 times a week”.  Samantha persuaded him to take one of her kidneys which would obviously save his life. Samantha now has a 4 inch operation scar because she was kind enough to give her husband who was dying of renal failure one of her kidneys. What makes matters worse, Samantha’s friend and still husband, (she has filed for divorce), have both deeply hurt her. Andy said “I never wanted her to donate her kidney because it was something massive to do”. All Samantha wants is Andy’s name on the divorce papers. If you ask me, I think that she deserves her kidney back after all the pain and heartache that her husband has put her through.  I never thought I would read a story like this in a newspaper like The Daily Mail. This story could have such mixed opinions. On one side, people would say that it is cruel to ask for the kidney back because there is a high chance that he could die. On the other hand, some people might disagree and say that he should give her back HER kidney as he cheated on her.
