Nicki the boss, Nicki the harajuku barbie

The artist I shall be blogging about today is Nicki Minaj. To her Barbz, she is Onika Tanya Maraj. ‘Massive Attack’ was the first song I heard from Nicki. One of my favourite songs by Nicki featuring crazy rapper Lil Wayne is ‘High School’. The lyrics are explicit from Nicki and Lil Wayne but rhyme and work so perfectly. Nicki: ‘he said he came from Jamaica, he owned a couple acres, a couple fake visas, coz he never got his papers, gave up on love fuckin with the heartbreakers’, Lil Wayne: ‘she got a nigga at home, and one on the side, best friend is a dyke, and fucked around a few times’.

This new look that Nicki is rocking now makes her look so beautiful and pure. We’ve seen a new side to Nicki, she’s not just bat-shit insane, she’s been through some troubles. She had an abortion, she’s broken up from her boyfriend Safaree Samuels. She is now dating fellow rapper Meek Mill. Nicki’s new album, The Pink Print is basically a female spin on Jay Z’s ‘The Blue Print’. This is because Nicki Minaj looks up to Jay Z a lot. I am so excited to see what new music Nicki will be bringing to 2015.

I prefer when Nicki is featuring on a different person’s song. She has featured on so many people’s songs, the list is endless. She always look’s flawless in the videos, (I woke up like this, I woke up like this). I hope Nicki continues to strive high and work hard as she does. This feud that she has going on with Lil Kim, I could not give a crap about. I’m with Nicki, Lil Kim has expired now.
