Coming back to uni after Christmas holidays was always going to be exciting. I was always going to be nervous about the new subjects that I would be learning. Video was the first new lesson I was going to be learning. This enabled us to learn the tricks of using a camera. This included using tripods properly and how to place the camera on the tripod. This also included learning how to use the equipment for filming and taking pictures inside and outside.

Law and Ethics was the next subject that I would be learning. It was so exciting to learn about defamation of character, types of hearings, Employment Tribunals and etc. Law and Ethics has been an interesting subject to study. Going to Magistrates Court was very different and we had to be quiet when we were watching the different cases. They were all very interesting to watch and we all had something to talk about afterwards. Crown Court was more intense as the case was a sexual abuse case and I just couldn’t believe how intense Crown Court was. I also panicked when I first found out that I would be studying Law and Ethics. Law seems like such a complicated subject. I understood everything in Law, which made me happy.

The time at university has been a good experience so far. There have been high moments and low moments. The library was like my second home towards the end of the weeks. I found it so uplifting just relaxing in the library and completing my work on time.
